For the second consecutive season, Florida State University (FSU) baseball has clinched the Tallahassee Regional title, securing a spot in the Super Regional round of the NCAA Tournament.

In the final game of the Tallahassee Regional, FSU faced Mississippi State in a high-stakes matchup. Despite trailing for much of the game, the Seminoles mounted a remarkable comeback.

Pitcher Wes Mendes delivered a career-best performance, throwing eight innings and allowing only two runs while striking out nine batters.

The team’s resilience was evident as they rallied in the eighth inning, with Max Williams contributing a crucial two-RBI single and Myles Bailey adding another RBI to give FSU a 5-2 lead.
